Business Essentials for Leaders

Designed for new and emerging leaders, this course builds the confidence and capability needed to lead effectively in a business environment.

Participants will develop practical leadership skills in understanding business metrics, strengthening accountability, and giving and receiving feedback.

The course also explores how leaders shift from managing day-to-day tasks to thinking and leading strategically, influencing others, and empowering teams to drive sustainable long-term success.

How the Course Works

The program is structured around two key components:

Step 1:

Attend the Live Online Training
(via Zoom)

Two facilitated 2-hour sessions delivered via Zoom, held over two consecutive weeks.

  • Engaging Discussions
  • Exploration of real-world case studies
  • Interactive practical exercises to apply leadership concepts

Step 2:

Complete the Self-Paced Learning Module (via PrimeLearn)

Participants will also complete the Online Learning Module in PrimeLearn, which includes:

  • Reinforcement of key concepts from the live sessions
  • Self-paced online learning to deepen understanding
  • Knowledge quizzes required for certification

Certificate Requirements

To receive CPD points and a certificate, participants must:

Attend both live Zoom training sessions

Complete the Online Learning Module

Successfully complete the knowledge quizzes
